can you glue mushrooms?

How do you affix a mushroom to a plug? Can you apply reef glue directly to the foot of the mushroom? Will it stick as well as it does to my fingers? Or do you have to hold it down somehow long enough for it to attach itself?

u tie it with a rubber band lightly,, so it wont move from the rock, yet it wont cut into the shroom cutting it in half.
Or you do what i do with my toad that fall off, which is you put them in a containment box with rubble, and then let the mushroom sit on top.

Over time it will stick to the rock.

But glue doesn't work very good... the mushroom like my toad will secrete a slime on it, making the glue not hold.
Although it is possible, yet its difficult, so its better to tie it down to a rock.

You can use fishing line to tie it to rubble. You can also put the mushroom in a small container of rubble in a lower flow area and wait for it to attach.

You can -- but, not directly. So if you try to glue the foot to a rock it slimes off, almost every time. I've had luck putting the shroom on some sand, letting the foot attach to the sand, then gluing the sand to a plug. ez pz, just takes a day or two for it to attach to the sand. I do this in a mushroom box.

Mushroom cages with rubble rock, a small rock, etc, eventually it will attach and you can move it elsewhere.
