Can you have to much flow?

I have the nero 5 and I was thinking about getting another one or adding a gyre to add more flow...would that be to much for a 40 nuvo?

Yes you can have too much flow... what type of tank are you keeping ?

It's mainly lps and zoas but I'm wanting to have more sps.

I figured you could but wanted to double check

If the tank is too small, relative to the power heads/wave makers being too large, I would think it could get tricky if you wanted a low flow zone and a high flow zone. Just a thought. :)
