can you identify this connecting thread between the two achro?

it's almost like a single spiderweb, but it's not a web. It's just a singular line piece of like string that connects the one acro to the red acro the red one I forget its name. actually, I'm not sure what the name of any of my achro are really. But I remove the thread and it comes back and I even increased the flow and it still comes back.

mesenterial filaments? but it's not that, probably just mucus thats flowing that way.
 
You got a vermitid tucked in there somewhere?
what does that mean? sounds bad
They are snails whose shells look like brown sticks and they shoot out a white filamentous string to catch food, often stinging surrounding coals in the process. Considered pests which is why I was asking if that is what you see.
 
I got some close-up images that kind of show what's going on but I don't know how to categorize it or if I should do a coral dip.

With your updated pics I’m leaning more toward mesenterial filaments. Whether it’s feeding or fighting is another story. Are all the surrounding corals open and looking healthy? If so I’d say it’s a feeding response. If not, it could very possibly be aggression.
 
That's typically way too long to be a mesenterial filament, and it's never just a single polyp that does it. It's hard to see which direction the flow is moving and where it originates, but it looks like the web from a vermatid snail. Some of your corals look like they're encrusting up vermatid tubes, the growth tips have holes in them that have been shaped by flow, it's a never ending race to the top where the vermatid can make new tube quicker than the coral can encrust over it. Spionid worms cause this as well. Find the openings and super glue than closed. You do not want vermatids to get a foothold and propagate.

it could look long because I used zoom on my iphone, plus i imaged through a flipper magnifier.
Saying that, why does it need to be super glued? Can I just use some clippers and chop it off?
