My question is can you freshwater rodi dip a torch coral?

Also what pests should I look out for before entering it into the tank?

There is a flatworm that eats hammers, torches, and frogspawns that's been around more frequently recently. Look for beige flat round things on the base, and what looks like clusters of eggs or round things on the base as well

This is NOT directed at the OP.
Everyone should study, learn and know as much about their coral and fish purchases before they are hanging in a plastic bag in their tank. At this point, Its now too late to start asking basic reef keeping questions on an open forum with many many opinions.
Again Not aimed at the OP. Just want to make sure everyone is thinking about their purchases way ahead of time. If practiced this way, success is almost a gimme !!!!!
Happy reefing.

No Do NOT dip your newly acquired coral in fresh RODI water.
