Can you tell the difference? Acropora

I acquired a frag TDF at my local swap this April, and it's the same kind of deal. I cant tell the difference between it and my red planet. At least not yet

Or like was mentioned it could all be just the same coral with different morphs...

I was sold a frag that was supposedly Vivid's Rainbow. It was not colored up at all, but for $15, I had to get it. It has since grown and colored up wonderfully but I dont think that is what it is. It has the same colors as vivids, but the growth structure is different from the pics that I have seen from others.

I think when you acquire a 1" frag, you can only go by what they tell you and the person told them when they bought it. But there is no doubt in my mind that people have passed on the wrong corals unknowingly, and that there are plenty of folks that have sold thing full well knowing its not true just to make a buck.
