As the title says I got a frag of candy apple zoas . They were fine for 8-10 months and have doubled in number. Then one day they were covered with red cyano. I used a toothbrush to clean them. But they’re in decline and the cyano returns on them only. Note cyano is not a problem in the aquarium. It is always there but very small . I moved them but they are closed and cyano persist on them .
Note this is a SPS dominant aquarium and all the acropora, montipora, and birdsnests are fine . So I’m doubting it’s water parameters. Any one experience this ?
