Hi guys, My candycane has been losing heads overnight. Yesterday they were looking good but the next day they were coming out. Is there a reason? I dont have Live parameters but it wasnt bad last time i saw them (2 days ago)

Really need parameters for your tank
What about flow and lighting?
Do you have photos of the rest of your tank?
Is there anything that could potentially be bothering it? (fish, cuc)

You said, the candy cane was fine yesterday? Do you have any recent photos? It just seems odd how, in one day, it can be fine to be on the verge of being dead, especially with how much of the skeleton is showing. I'm wondering if it hasn't been doing good for some time now and it is now finally starting to loose the heads.

I have a 16hd and low flow on him. about last week i did a blackout and a head fell out. I thought it was stress from the blackout so i disregarded it. i do have a cleaner shrimp that runs on the corals.

The positioning doesn’t look good to be jammed in the corner like that. I imagine it is very low light and low flow. What intensity is your Prime?

Agree with above not loving placement tank also looks fairly new?
Candy canes are pretty hardy so something is settling on
you need to retest alot can change I two days and what test kits are you using
my tank is 1.5 years old, just new rock. I used aquaspin from my LfS.
