least expensive way is buy a standard size glass tank and add partitions

Absoulty x4 on huild your own. If money is no issue, buy one. Easy and neat. But this hobby sucks up my cash as it is and i DYI or buy everything used! Lots of folks become reefers, cant deal w the issues and quit after a year. You can get great used equipment, just be patient putting it all together.
And sumps are really easy to build and just as good as a pretty store bought sump!

the ones I buy are in a bag and need to be in direct line with water flow to filter properly not sure how you could put it in sump unless you maybe put it in a fitter sock . But its great stuff for cleaning your water and can be cleaned and reactivated and reused but they are so cheap I just end up buying a new one.

How do you reactivate the purigen?
