Can't access AI Director

Ok received Director today, no brainier on the direction to get it rolling but when i enter in http://director-XXXXXXX.local gives me could not find director [h=1]director-XXXXXX.local.. I replace my serial number with X. Is there something else special I need to do?[/h]
