Can't tell if they will spawn

Can you tell if your fish have spawn in the past.i traded 7 purple hornets to a guy for a "mating pair" of black oc clowns.
I have had them for 1 month and they are not doing nothing.they just eat the living crap out of my food supply

Keep feeding. Feed as many times a day as you can handle...they will get around to it.

when something in their environment changes it disturbs their breeding cycle. It may take you a while to get them back into it. Try checking MOFIB - Marine Ornamental Fish & Invertebrate Breeders - Marine Fish Breeding / Saltwater Fish Breeding / Marine Invertebrate Breeding for some specific food you could use to encourage breeding.
