I have bought a cardinal very recently... but, it always expel the food immediately after taking it through mouth... what i should do?

What food are you attempting to feed? Does the fish eat the food after they spit it out the first time? Have you tried different foods?

I have tried flakes, pellets, frozen mysis...
No they attempt to eat another one but again spit that out
