actually... I have been thinking, not decided yet, but thinking to maybe possibly start fishing for a buyer of my
2006 Z06 Corvette. +600hp to crank, +500 to the wheels. Heads, Cam, Intake and Exhaust all done. I just had a baby 7 months ago and I never get to touch it anymore. I love it and would love to keep it and pass it on, but it will be at least 5 years before I can give my son some riding time with me in it. Besides I am considernig leaving NY and going to Texas (although i have never been there). The money could help with moving/purchasing a home there.
I'm in that demographic and I absolutely can afford one. And I know others who could as well; you might be surprised. Now, granted that's a very small market segment, but I wouldn't totally discredit it.The C7 design just doesn't do it for me. Too many angles, too many air ducts, too Transformer looking. And why Camaro tail lights? Looks designed for the 20-30 year old demographic that cannot afford them in the first place. Personally. I would have preferred an evolutionary design of the C6 to what they came up with.
Great performance, but I could not live with the exterior.
Meh; I'm just not all that impressed. 114 hp/l and ~0.15 hp/lb. Neither of those figures excites me. I get the appeal, but it's just not for me.Hellcat
