i need to catch my flame angel! He had been a model citizen for a long time but has been super aggressive towards my other fish lately. He made my wrasse jump out a couple weeks back and now is hostile towards my clownfish. Any tips on how to take him out would be awesome!

The inverted bottle method has always worked for me. Leave it in the tank for a couple days for them to check out, then throw food in regularly and patiently wait.

Place a mirror at the front corner of the tank. He will try and fight his reflection.

Wait till dark like when they sleep and shine a flashlight in their eyes to disorient him. Then snag em. If you don’t know where he sleeps or if it’s a tough place to get to this way doesn’t work well.

The "high and dry" method works well too.

..... also known as the drain-all-the-water-so-they're-flopping-around-on-the-sand method.

..but it's so satisfying to see that jerk you've been trying to catch with a trap because he's been nipping at your corals flop around.
