I think there's a way to mount a Wyse security camera right to your tank. I'm not sure if it can do time lapse, but it might help:

Am i able to see clearly on my phone with the blue light? How do h filter that? And can i go back and see what my fish is doing? I want to see if its eating corals thats the whole point

u buy a filter for reef tanks
u can also get reef tank sunglasses and rip the lenses out and tape it to the lens

I have an orange filter over the camera which helps significantly with the blue light. I got it off Amazon. Depending on how you have the camera set up, you can see pretty clearly. For my display, I just want to get a sense of what's going on when I'm not home. They have a playback option if you have an SD card installed. For my qt, I have the camera set up right in line with the tank so I can see if the fish are eating when I'm not next to them.

What spectrum are you running? I run Radion AB+ and you can see the tank during the day just fine with the Wyze cam. Late at night when it shifts to all blue it’s an issue but you can still make out a fish doing damage.

This is as blue as it gets. If you’d like I can post a pic during the main part of the photoperiod. I have the OG cam, I think it’s the least expensive one.

Thats a good question. I get some natural light where my tank is so that helps during the day. I will say that I can see the tank very clearly even on an overcast day. Maybe someone without any ambient light can chime in. You may have to go the orange filter route…

Not sure how much this helps because I have some natural sunlight coming in but here’s what the Wyze OG cam looks like in the main part of the AB+ photoperiod. I don’t use an orange filter.

It’s raining here in NJ so here’s a shot with little to no ambient light during my main photoperiod. You could catch a coral eater on cam with this setup and no filter.

Many just use their cell phone camera. Set it up to record the tank, and walk away for 30 min. Come back and review the footage.

Either get an orange filter for your phone, or just run white lights for the filming, the fish doesn't care what the light is really, if its snacking on a coral, it will snack.

How often do you feed? I had this issue and rehomed my foxface, which I am now sad - because I had another issue, and ultimately figured out I was not feeding enough.

I have an auto feeder now, feed 3x a day, and 95% of the aggression is gone, and I have a few reef safe with caution fish that are not eating corals.
