I've had some rock sitting in a brute dry for the last 7 years. Rock was put into my future frag tank about 3 months ago. I now have caulerpa growing on some of the rock. Yes I used to use it in my old sump 7 years ago but definitely didn't expect to see it come back after all this time. Not a big deal, can put those rocks in my sump to keep and grow or put them in the main tank for the tangs. Used to feed it to them out of the sump in my old tank. Wonder if it is growing in the main tank also but being eaten to quickly to notice it growing. Again just surprised to see it after that long, goes to show how long stuff can live unexpectedly. Keep in mind this rock was not only stored dry but also bleached, sun bathed, and rodi soaked for days before going into the new setup.

Stuff is un-killable ..... and will never, ever be in any of my tanks.
