This reefer has website and ebay stores. I ordered 2 expensive frags from him and he shipped out the corals during holidays without setting up a date with me to see if I will be available or not to receive the corals. He then blamed me for not letting him know I was on vacation and its my responsibility to tell him my whereabouts. This is the first time I found an irresponsible reefer shipping out live animals without arranging dates of delivery like dropping me a bomb without warning. For sure, my vacation was ruined and was unable to get the package. Anyway to dispute Paypal charge would be appreciated.

I think you have a responsibility to plan before you order and make notes

I guess this is true however I've never ordered from any online store that hasn't communicated via email or phone prior to shipping the item. To just ship a package with live goods blindly and not let the recipient know when its coming? Weird.

It's the Buyer's responsibility to let the shipper know if they'd prefer a specific date, otherwise the understanding is " ship ASAP."

Was this on Ebay? Did his sale on Ebay have a ship date or turnaround time? I know that most sales indicate how long shipping will be. Some explain in detail when they ship after auction ends. If it was on Ebay that is. I like to contact buyers to coordinate, but if its stated somewhere in detail then maybe he figured you had read it and would contact him to make changes.

The sellers probably freaking because he's trying to get them to you ASAP. Ships it quick, and the whole transaction goes sour. Bummer.

Not from ebay. Believe me. I have ordered over 20 packs online and none, I mean, none has just shipped the corals without communicating with the buyer first. or wait for the buyer to confirm a delivery date before any shipping can occur. This is a matter of common sense. Don't people have to work to make a living or just sit around waiting for the delivery?

I have never had one call me before shipping, I just get a email telling me when its coming. If your going to be on vacation then its up to you to say hold till I tell you ship.
