I’ve had this CBB in my QT for a week. When I picked him up at the LFS he was eating well and looked active.

In my QT he’s reasonably active but clearly shy and likes to hide. He’s eating a little bit but not as much as when I saw him at the LFS.

I let him settle for 3 days while I slowly reversed the extreme hyposalinity he was in (1.012)

He’s up to 1.020 and I slowly ramped up the copper power. I reached 1.96ppm last night.

I noticed a couple nights ago a raw band like area on his side. He’s also rubbed his beak against rock and pvc when I try to feed. No clear flashing.

Here’s a pic-

I added general cure last night and did furan today. Need to pick up some Kanaplex.

I think this looks bacterial but tonight I noticed a tiny white speck on his tail. Not sure if it’s Lympho or just some debris

Thoughts? Would anyone do anything different.

It does look bacterial. NFG is the best thing to use here. If you don't have NFG the second best thing is the trifecta which is Furan 2, Kanaplex, and Metroplex all used together.

Time is of the essence here as that is a pretty bad infection.
