Hey guys where do you guys have best success with the placement? I've had it for a few months now and it hasnt grown at all. Any help would be great! Has anyone been able to grow out a colony would love to see what it turns into!

Kinda in the same boat, pretty sure Tenuis is a slower grower. I have mine in medium light t5's and LED's and high flow. Starting to get purple on the base and yellowish and hue of Orange and green polyps. No real incrusting but a tiny bit of growth.
Hope it's a little bit of help, at least you know your not alone.

Mine just started encrusting " very little" i have it in high light and high flow no good colors and appears white polyps i am afraid to move it down because it took forever to encrust in that spot. I bought my WD the same time as that in the same height and flow and that is growing like a beast. I believe they are both tenius.

This is when I first got it in December I'll have a current photo later.

This the best shot I could get for now. The bottom right is what has encrusted, not much but it's something.

I think this just turned in to a grow out thread, maybe a crazy slow drawn out grow out thread but what ever

I traded mine out but it encrusted a 2 inch frag disk then starting throwing shoots in a little over 8 weeks. I had it in around 410 par under t5s in blistering flow
