Chaeto make a difference

Changed lighting in refugium-which not has stuff growing yuckily-switched out from caulerpa to now chaeto…

Last 3 years tank has always ran nitrates between 20-25, phosphates .11-.17

Testing with hanna checkers

now nitrates are running around 12-15

Phosphates .04-.08

Can changing to chaeto make that much of an impact

System is 14 years old, been thru 2 upgrades,-corals have always been ok, and minimal to zero algae growth in main display tank

Doesn't really seem to in my 4 year system but both sets of your numbers are good in my opinion.

It did with mine, ran nutrients to near zero and died out.

Possibly the new lighting rather the Caulerpa to Cheato switch
