Hey, I have a frag of some sort of watermelon chalice that was doing fine on the sand bed until one of my fish dumped some sand on it. I moved it up to a small rock just on the sandbed and it lost it's color everywhere but its eyes. It has 4 eyes and they are all still orange but the body is white. feeders still come out from time to time so I know it's still alive. Is there anything I can do to get the color back? I have a Tek 6 bulb T-5 fixture

As long as it is feeding, i wouldn't panic. How long did it have sand on it? Although you will say nay, i urge you to keep vigilant regarding temperature; as this is a more likely cause. (for you wouldn't let a coral stay buried long enough for this type of reaction, i'm sure!)

It didn't stay under the sand long, I'll go with the temp issue because it happened back when I was running the other heaters before I got the fluval from you. Both it has been bleached since then. The temp seems to be holding steady according to the readout on the heater itself, as well as the thermometer in the tank. Anywho, I am going to be bringing your corals this week I hope....
