I have a really nice chalice that is getting lighter in color a bit so I put it less light.....wells still going in that direction so I moved it again, this time in complete shade over a close overhang so not very much light at all....it still seems to be getting worse. Am I taking the right steps here or what do you recommend?

thanks

Leave it in the shade and start target feeding after lights-out.

might not be a lighting issue. tank possibly too clean? check if phosphates/nitrates are too low. similar die off can happen in zoa/paly when things become too sterile. dont be too aggressive with gfo
