When I bought my first rainbow chalice, one of my first questions was, “how fast will this thing grow?”
Well here it is, 16 months later.

Oh, wow! I was given a rasta rampage chalice about 5 months ago and it has doubled in size. Crazy 5 inch sweeper tentacles. I had to put it in the middle of the sand bed. I guess, after seeing yours, I’ll have to keep fragging it to prevent coral warfare.

Thanks, this is what it looked like when I first put it in my tank. I wish I had a picture of the one it was fragged from. It was the size of a dinner plate. My emerald crab crashed the photo.

Love me a good chalice coral! I"ve got the golden eye, and now that it's been in the tank for 5-6 months, it's really starting to take off!

Great job on that rainbow chalice. Did it go slow at first and then just take off?

Ask and you shall receive!

Picture today is under blues, and original picture was under the "stock" LED light form the eshopps deskmate.

Initial picture is from May 1, so todays picture is 5.5 months from that time....very happy with the growth, and almost the whole time was under the radions (installed radion on May 8).

Pictures are with iPhone 12, no filter, so I can't always capture the "true to eye" coloring, but I will say those eyes in person glow golden for sure! I really want to get my hands on a pink ******* chalice too!
