Chalice grow out setup

What are you guys growing your chalices out on that you plan on fragging? I was looking at the Printed Reef Frag Loc Frag grow out kit, so that I could make easy frags of the Chalice as it grows. Would this work out or would it be too hard to cut the frags from the hexagon plugs? Would I be better off just getting a large like square or circular frag plug and just fragging as it grows??

It's not hard trimming them on a hex plug. Just let the chalice grow enough so you don't have to take a piece of the frag plug.
