I got this chalice free from a guy tearing down his tank, upon buying some of his other corals.

Can anyone ID it please??

It looks like a nice chalice, but it's hard to ID because of the pic and lighting. Either way, it's awesome for the price you got it for! Maybe someone can move this to the LPS ID section?

Almost certainly it looks like a Hollywood stunner chalice. It looks very light right now maybe due to the fact it may have been in very high nitrates for a long period or it could also be because of being exposed to alkalinity swings . But other than that its a nice chalice when colored up and also a very fast grower. Just be careful as it can have very long sweeping tenticals and sting or kill near by coral .

Thanks for the advice and identification ! It's definitely a lot more happy where it is now in my tank. It's showing good signs and hopefully will grow quick as you mentioned.
