My tank specs

40 breeder
250w De MH in a reefoptix pendant about 6" above the water
1 koralia 4
1 koralia 2
2 koralia 1

no flow problems in the tank...lol

Forgot....bulb is a crappy odyssea 20k...looking at getting a phoenix 14k in the near future.

To be safe keep them low in your tank. Thats a strong light.
