Nice-they look real similar-I picked mine up at a LFS and it morphed to the pic but after fragging this pc two different times it may be an unfraggable coral-all the 8 frags died but the mother colony lives-Lam even flew a healthy/healed one home to end up dieing in his tank-yours and Marks died in my frag tank also-can't figure it out :(-all three 1" frags-

Oh wow joe sorry to hear that... This is also one of my favorite as I am a fan of red rims :).. I frag a small frag and send it to a friend and so far it live..lucky him.. i just like the colors on this piece red.purple,blue. red white stripe skirts..

glad your frag made it-Beaker Bob was saying something about high ribbed thin skinned chalices not fragging for him either-not sure if this type is what he was talking about but I sure would like to see mine in someone elses tank so the DNA is spread around-

What light do you have that under - 200 par? or more?
I had it in the shade (like all mine! - no wonder they weren't growing and coloring up!!! aarrrrggg) I thought my par was higher - but just started dropping my light

Over the last weeks I have had more growth and color since lowering my lights. The par was only 75-100 in the sand! doh... it looked like more.

Now things are getting a LOT better. They were fine before, but no real growth and the colors darkened a bit. Now they are all a lot brighter and look great! I'm happy I borrowed a par meter!

El Cameron - kick down on that acan in the back! Its a Nice one!
