I know this, I've gotten over a dozen pms asking about it, so it must be something nice, lol.

What's really the difference between a mycedium and and a chalice? Maybe 5 years ago I had a 5" piece that was red with a big green splotch that almost looked like a handprint. All the experts told me it was a oxapora or mycedium. Nowadays I see a .75" piece being sold as a chalice for $100. In particular when its less than an inch how do u know? How many people grow em out big enough to find out, lol

This one I was told is a mycedium. I'm dubbing it fake *******. Like the real thing, but better! It's more pink than that. The pic makes it look redder than it is.

I often ignore my Hollywood stunner, since its soooo common, but I still dig it and figured I'd post a common chalice. It kinda serves as a reminder that one day all these $500/eye chalices will be cheap, lol.

Not all of them.....a lot of these chalices grow at a snails pace. That is why you see a lot of named chalices disappear to oblivion. Which is a turn off for me personally.
