this one is worth a mention, too... left t5 + powerbrites. right powerbrites only. the gold covering the skin is very hard to capture on camera, but it is really unique. the eyes are true yellow. i've had it in my frag tank since the 10th and it keeps looking better.

very nice... looks so much nicer in your tank....

man, powerbrites are amazing. in my humble opinion everyone should have them for supplemental lighting to enjoy the full potential of their corals! :D i don't use them except for when i want to take a close look at things for fear of burning the lps, but when they are on it's a whole new tank.

thanks again for the piece!

This is just a original piece of mine.... i got a colony of about 20 eyes.. my friend up north ((He can speak up if he wants)) took 7 eyes. Then Someone else on here on reef2reef got two eyes .. thats all that is out there.. i call it tangy melon.

Picture was taken by a canon point and shoot digital camera sd1200. And lights are 250 w phoenix DE with 1 65 w PC actinic and 1 65 w 10k.

Hi Phungcpu: can you tell me what chalice this is? And in what lighting (daylight or actinic) the picture was taken? That is an awesome photo!
