thanks mark.....i was very fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire this piece :) i hope it grows well for me. I want it to grow into a really nice colony. The colors on it look really amazing. definitely a unique chalice.

To me it looks like a chalice. But i guess well find out when it grows out, but chalice or not it is really nice, which is one of the reasons i bought it.

Let other corals touch it. If it kills everything, it's a rotundiflora

(disclaimer: don't do this)

Nope, I'd say its definitely a chalice ;) But I have been wrong before...

+1

Rotunda's you can tell by their "skin" usually. At least that is what I go by. They sort of "ripply", if that is a word ;)

A friend of mine purchased a chalice collection. Can anyone help with IDs on any of these? They arrived a bit in rough shape, but seem to be improving.

Yeah, that looks nice -

Your right too, Hugo was a real nice guy. I was definitely happy to meet him and talk shop for a few hours when I was out there.

I guess I should get that video edited, and stop play PS3 Uncharted 2 - the new TV and PS3 are too much fun together though :)

That Orange Immolation is looking sweet!
