Changing filters on rodi

New to saltwater, What is this called, dont think it opens wondering do I change the whole thing or just what’s inside

That looks to be like di resin.
You can buy a new canister or replacement resin to refill, which ever you prefer. I just buy a new canister each time.

Yeah most likely a mixed-bed DI resin. Like the guy above said, you can either buy them pre-filled or get the container and fill it yourself.
