Hey guys, looking for some advice and thoughts. I, like most, started the tank (reefer 450) and was in such a hurry to get going just thru everything I could get my hands on in there. Had a difficult time with this build since my first time with dry rock.

Anyway now I have green Pocci invading whole tank and couple staghorns have encrusted and covered rock. All the coral are plain Jane snoresville. I’d like to start getting some more heady and rare sps pieces in there but how do I clear out existing sps esp encrusted?
I have trauma from past gsp and Xenia. Craved that if I scrape off it will just spread it to everywhere.
