Changing to ab+ Program on evergrows

Hi Reefers,
I am currently running my reefbreders for 4 hours max intensity with 4 hours ramp up ramp down.
Planning on running max intensity for 7 hours, do you think i should increment it slowly or it wont have any affect as i will be using the same intensity and just increasing the duration?

I would implement it slowly- say add an hour or so every couple days to peak hours.
