Hi all.

I have an aquatic life hybrid fixture with 2x blue plus and 2 actinic bulbs in it. My tank is a peninsula so inorder to get an even spread and matching colour on both sides, each side has 1 of each bulb.

My problem is I want to run just actinic bulbs in the evening but this isn't possible as each power supply has 1 b+ amd 1 actinic running on it.

Does anyone know if its possible to switch the wiring so that 1 power supply powers one bulb on each side?

Are you comfortable with doing your own wiring? If so you could run the 2 outside bulbs on one ballast and the 2 inside bulbs from the other. You would have to run wires from each ballast to the other fixture so that one side has a light output from both ballast.
