Chasing higher alk with 2 part but increasing dose seems to have little effect on Alk?

Using Reef Fusion 1 and 2. Alk was about 7 was doing 6mL a day, then 8mL, then 10mL (pain in the a** to do that math/program), and now 12mL. . . Alk still hanging out around 7.6 and I want it at 9 or more. . . seems like the more Alk I throw at the tank the more it eats. . . Also I do water changes with IO so it should boost my ALK!

Do I just suck at testing my water? Am I not understanding the product? Am I not understanding the process. . .

Is your pH spiking when you dose? You might be precipitating whatever you're adding. I like to use sodium bicarb when I make big adjustments so it doesn't affect the pH.

How big is your tank and how much coral? My 60g started at around 12ml a day to hold 10dkh and is currently at 38ml a day after a few years of coral growth.

All at once? They return to my normal dosing or continue with that daily?

All at once then return to normal dosing and adjust as necessary. Before you do anything though, are you sure your testing method/kits are accurate? Test some fresh mixed salt and see what it reads to get an idea.
