lately, ive been having wc salinity issues, done the math and all, but still, idk...
so i want to see if that (title) exists
thoughts?

its only during wc's, even in the mixing buckets it does that

How much variability?

How would you know it’s not it a measuring problem? It doesn’t necessarily mean you made a mistake.
 
like 0.1, enough to kill an acro in a day

Sorry, that’s a meaningless statement, and is likely incorrect for any unit of measure reefers use.

normally my salinity is at 1.026
it fluctuated down and up to 1.015 and 1.036...

Salinity will never fluctuate that much unless you are doing huge water changes and forget to add salt. You have a measurement issue, not a salinity issue.
 
I would calibrate it. I use a Hanna and a refractometer. They usually read the same if one is reading different. I know they can use a calibration
