Hello everyone I have been reading this webpage for months and I finally am ready to order my equipment. All the items are in the shopping cart ready for me to hit buy but I wanted to double check with the great people here to make sure my equipment is sufficient.

My plans are to go fish only for a few months to get used to my equipment and then go full blown reef. This is what I am planing to buy. I don't want to upgrade later so please let me know if I should buy something different so I don't have to upgrade.



Tank- Marineland 150 gallon cube

Stand- DIY

Sump- Trigger systems emerald sump

Lights- Nicrew Led Lights
Fuge light- H380 Halo II LED Algae Grow Light - Kessil
Protein skimmer- 2x Seaclone 100
Return pump-EcoTech Marine Vectra M1
Controller- Neptune systems apex
Doser- Apex Dossers and auto feeder

I ordered everything except I got a 300 gallon tank instead of the 150 gallon, got a 3rd wp40 and 1 more skimmer.

Ditch the Seaclone skimmers, waste of money and don't work very well. Instead of three poor performing skimmers, get 1 properly performing skimmer for your size tank.
 

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
