Just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on using Chemiclean? Safe in a mixed reef with inverts, LPS and SPS?

Some forms of cyano contain palytoxin so if it is one of those and it mass dies off from the chemo clean , it can take your inhabitants with you.

It’s a bit of a gamble.

Likely affects other bacteria as well.

I've used it in the past but now that my reef tank is mature and there are corals everywhere I won't risk it. Siphon off the affected areas, increase the flow, and try using coral snow and a bacterial supplement like microbacter 7. Cerith snails will eat it, they're a great addition to the cuc also. You'll eventually get it under control
