We have a beautiful fromia starfish that is bright red with yellow tips.
It has been doing well for 4 months.

Interested in getting a few chitons on my next order just for the novelty.
I can always return one of the turbo snails to LFS.

Will the chitin compete with the fromia starfish for food?

Depends on the chiton species and size of the tank.. They generally eat a variety of algae, diatoms, barnacles and other microfauna. Fromia eat biofilms which include some algaes
Just a 75 gallon tank.

The starfish still looks good.
Don't want to risk it.

Thanks!
