She wanted and she got it made, beautiful 60ish gallon cube! Made with starphire glass and overflow. Had it made locally her in Seattle by Oceans by Design. We will update the thread as the build starts, have to build a sump and get it plumbed. Have a skimmer ready to go, a Bubble Magus Curve5.

Congrats . Looks like a step stool would be a wise gift too .Show us what you are using for a stand .

This is her first coral for her tank. Picked it up on Thursday, I wish I could capture the true color she is a euphyllia and acan fiend.

Yeah she has a step stool, she's only 4' 10"! Still working on what she wants for a stand, going to price out lumber or find one already built she likes.

That's an awesome present! I'm also vertically challenged and use stools/chairs for tank work.

Nice tank and nice first coral. Good luck finding or building your stand.
Thanks, I think the cost of lumber, screws/bolts, paint..etc will equal the cost of one that is built.

Yeah she wants a short stand but that's not going to happen.

That's a sweet looking tank.

What are you going to use for lights?

Marty we are getting the new version of the Helios from Mike. I really like the features of the new light.
