Hey I was looking at circus freaks and fruit loops and to me they look the same. Are they the same ? I mean guess it doesn't matter since either would be fine.

Second question are these finicky zoas ? I bought king midas twice now only to have them dissolve away over many months. I did have a regal angel in there and maybe he was nipping at them and that why they never opened. I tried other zoas also with no luck. Any SPS LPS I can grow no problem just have struggled with zoas.
Is there a looking bullet proof zoa or more hardier zoa ? I now have a coral only/frag tank so they would no longer be messed with by any fish.

Check out this thread/article on fruit loops (btw, I do not believe these are the same, circus looks more pink, fruit orange):

They talk about melting away, so it is a good read, might be helpful!

I have both, and they are different. And yes, my fruit loops melt and revive. It's frustrating

Of a similar look to those id recommend several.
Blue eyed blonde
Emeralds on fire
Shatterfields

Others
Rastas
Any of the hornets
Golden gods
Lemon lasers

Palythoa style
Zombies
Bowsers
Rainbow incinerator

Pandoras the most hardy yet!!!

If you are running high light, try orienting them on a wall or slightly shaded cave

Red hornets, really good one.

Those awesome blossom below are melt queens, but this group loves this low shady spot

This tank is only across and zoas, nothing else. And like half are battle corals, haha
Here's bowsers on top and rainbow incinerator below

My fruit loops from WWC are pretty hardy in a semi shaded spot. Midas struggled for months (and were getting bugged by a diamond goby) but are doing well now. Super hardy (IME) are jawbreakers, rastas, bam bams, pin wheels, blue hornets, scrambled eggs, blow pops…

I've had my fruit loop zoa for over a year, sarted with 5 heads, now have around 25, I consider it a slow grower, never melted, even though it is irritated by aiptasias...I consider them hardy, have some other type (don't know the name) that are also doing ok but don't see much difference in growth rate, my tank is mostly mushrooms, leathers, couple hammers, these two zoas, and a sps Montipora Setosa...

I can attest to this! I found three numbs in the last dregs of ice cold water at the bottom of a used tank that had been "drained." And now I have an entire field of them. If you were in Oregon, I'd give you as much as you'd like.
