I’ve been using this for about 1 month. Every single day the alarm activates. I push the alarm button for 5 seconds, the lights flash 5 times, the roll advances, and the blue status light illuminates. Why every day? Any suggestions?

I don't know if it's your issue but if it doesn't move on its own (from the float switch) for 24 hrs. it will activate the alarm.

Is the float getting stuck in the up position and not dropping down?

Is the fleece not tight on the motor housing where the motor is spinning but the fleece isn’t moving, or moving and getting stuck?

Is your water so clean that the water level doesn’t trip the float at all in a 24hr (? Going off my decrepit memory, might be 8/12/24 I’m questioning myself as it’s been a few years) period?

Edit. Lastly is a lot of water bypassing the fleece, either by the bypass gate or (as I vaguely remember a poster years back) is the fleece not installed correctly and on the wrong side of the white grates? Still don’t know how that happened but it did.

I don’t know how much water is flowing into the roller mat. I do know that when I press the alarm button for 5 seconds, the lights flash 5 times, resets to blue only, the roll advances, the water level inside the unit drops, and everything seems OK. Until the next time which is every single day. Everything seems to be installed exactly as the instructions say. When the alarm is on, often the water inside the unit is pouring out of the top of the unit. Then when the roll advances bc I press the alarm button, the roll advances and the water level goes back down. The float seems to be working when I raise it manually. REALLY frustrating. All of the above has been happening since Day 1 of installing this thing.

It sounds like you are having an issue with your float switch activating. I would contact D-D for help. The daily alarm is a normal feature that is designed to alert you to an error state, usually indicating the roll is used up and needs changing.

Iirc on mine (I took it offline awhile back) when you reset the unit by holding down the button, the motor advances slightly regardless of the switch position. So if after you reset, and the motor stops, and then you manually pull up the sensor float and the motor advances, push down on the float and it stops. I would think the unit to be operational. As mentioned above, contact support for help. I’m not exactly sure who that would be nowadays. Originally it was dd directly, then it was brs, I needed a replacement motor awhile back and had to go through Ecotech for support.
