I played it when it was NEW. I've played WoW off and on. I was full tilt in BC and Wrath. Cata I had to leave for RL reasons. Pandaland was terrible. I'm one of the few that actually liked the gold grab that was Warlords. Legion was ok but I started to hate doing daily BS. BFA has just been a cluster and the daily requirements to stay on top of things has just ruined the game to the point that I have no interest.

Classic seems like a cheap last ditch money grab.
Not sure what where and if I will even bother with it. I've been Ally since for ever but I have some Horde toons so I could see the story from the other side.

Yeah same. Played off and on since vanilla.

I actually don't hate retail, I just don't have the same time I used to.

My hope is playing classic casually will feel more rewarding than casual in retail. Given the time investment to max level a toon, let alone gear it up.. you don't switch. It also means playing slowly over time will feel more rewarding than retail. I hope.

What am I saying, i'll probably end up as hardcore as I was 15 years ago...........

I played when it was new and was in a server 1st guild. While I really liked it I have no desire to play a 15 year old game that I have every turn and monster and drop in memory. I have no idea why anyone would want that. It was the discovery, challenge, and guild mates that made the game great...you don't get any of those with a 15 year old rehash.

Also balance is based on 1.12 and will not be adjusted. As someone who played in 1.12 I can tell you that was the most unbalanced warriors ever were in both terms of tanking and in DPS. Note: 2 of the lead 3 devs for this project are known to main warriors...any guess why they are using 1.12 for balance and not going to change it lol
