Chaetomorpha grows in long, curvy, sturdy strands that create a framework with ample inner space that provides shelter for a diversity of small, beneficial benthic creatures such as copepods, amphipods, isopods, etc.

I have a sump full of caulerpa, growing healthy (knock on wood)
Now I've read that if it goes sexual, that it can cause problems in my tank.
Since then, I've been thinking of replacing it with Chaeto butm not sure how would be the best way to make the change with out throwing my tank into a crazy swing, or the algaes mixing and tangling them sels
any recommendations ?

What are you water parameters and how quickly is your tank producing nitrate/the caulerpa removing them?
