clean up crew

After my tank cycles I will be adding a clean up crew. What would you recommend for a crew in a 120 tank and where would be the best place to get them from?

i'd go with all snails. hermits are cool but they'll cause trouble (eat snails, irritate corals)

reefcleaners is well priced. ceriths and black trochus are my favs. in a 120 you'll need at least 100 ceriths.

sealifeinc is good too but a little pricier

Don't add anything until you need it! Otherwsie they'll all die due to nothing to eat.

"Clean Up Crews" are totally overdone 99% of the time.

A new tank will generally go through an algae bloom, which is normal, so it's best to let this happen and keep up with water changes as necessary. The blooms will disappear.

Make sure that every piece of food you feed goes into a fish or coral mouth (as best you can)... there's no reason to directly fed a clean up crew and pollute the tank, unless you specifically want to keep snails and hermits.

IMO 100 snails in a 120 gallon is way to many. 25-30 "ish" is more than sufficient.

def want to get some nassarius snails, cerith snails, and i would add some nerite snails
