I'm curious about how everyone else cleans the back chambers of their AIO, specifically the WB Cube 20. I feel like there is stuff that can be cleaned out of there but my hands are too fat to fit in and I only have a small scraper or do I even need to worry about getting it nice and clean back there? I'm pretty sure I have a few baby astrea turbo snails that were born in my tank cleaning it up as well.

When I do a water change on my daughter's WB20, I start by removing the sock, media, etc. from the first two compartments, and then I use a small siphon at the bottom of each to remove water. I figure that removes most junk down there. I never bother with the return compartment because I don't want to bother with removing the pump.

In my jbj 45 I use a piece of flexible pex attached to some hose to get in the hard to reach areas.
