I bought a new quite large hammer and noticed a clear growth with orange spots on the skeleton and haven't been able to find much information about what it could be. Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance.

Yeah it's like a clear growth on the skeleton with orange dots. I uploaded and edited picture to show you the area of concern.
