I see alot of my old corals..Glad to see they are still doing good..that Pink Lemonade really grew in size..if I ever start a new tank again..I might have to see about purchasing a few small frags from ya.

I'm off my paly/zoa kick...and these are actually the only colony that I'm actively keeping in this tank, but I wouldn't dream of not having them. These things were so worth trading or buying (can't remember which) from Jared. Not only have they gone from a 4 polyp frag in April to 100+, but since I've probably made and subsequently sold/traded 5 frags of these things, they've paid for themselves with interest already. (I obviously don't have all 100 in my tank now...this is probably a 20-25 polyp mini-colony. My mom has a colony about twice this size in her tank that I traded to her, and all the other frags I've made add up to well over 100.)

Glad to see they did well for you Nate, they are by far the best blue zoa out there. I started with a single polyp and including what I have now and what I have fragged over the years, I would say easily 400 polyps. These things grow well and look great.

By the way, the tank looks awesome man. I have a really nice Magenta Stylophora that would look nice amongest your SPS frags. Let me know if you want a piece.

Yeah...almost as soon as I got it, it started to grow vertical on me. It's slowed down, but I think that's due to a salinity issue that I'm going to address tonight. It jumped up to 1.030 on me, and through some research, I've realized that while not harmful, it definitely doesn't make the corals happy. If you ever do get back in, look me up.

There's a reason why fast growing zoas still frequently sell for about $4-5 per polyp...like I said, I'm off my paly kick right now...but I wouldn't dream of not having tubbs in my tank.

As for the Stylophora, of course I want a piece, but where to put it. Eventually, I'm going to thin out what I have, and put some other stuff in its place that I really want. I'd like some of the ORA pieces like the Pearlberry, and Purple Monster, and some of the ATL pieces as well. Right now, there just isn't room for any SPS in this tank, so I've been focusing a lot more on LPS. Just added the red chalice, the purple and green favia, and an acan colony. I'm really really hoping that my Aquadelight colors back up...it was gorgeous until the move.

You're aquascaping really looks great!!! I like how you left plenty of sandbed for some "choice" LPS and how you took advantage of the vertical space. It will only get better as it fills in.

Thanks. LPS has become a focal point for me recently due to the fact that I don't have room for anymore SPS right now. I'll probably eventually be moving on my candy cane corals and adding a lot more Acan Lords. I like chalices, but don't have the $$$$ it would take to get a collection of them going right now.

Forgot all about 'Club Cube'! Like the over sized stand! Wish I thought of that! I made snap on acrylic mini shelves to hold cups of food for me while I feed the fish and what not.

Yeah, it was definitely a good idea. I did it to squeeze more in under the stand, but my fish food cup is sitting right on top when people aren't visiting:)

what fish do you have and what fish do you think would be nice to have in a 60 cube? I am looking for ideas to stock my 60 cube.

Right now I only have 3 fish...a true perc, black cardinalfish, and watchman goby. I had a small sailfin tang, and need some kind of tang due to the algea growth in the tank. I'll stay with that type of tang, so it will probably be either a yellow, sailfin, or purple tang. I'd really like to add a school of bartlett's anthias to the tank. I'd also like a wrasse, but have to get the top covered before I think about adding a potential carpet surfer.

My wife bought me a 60 cube to replace my 72 bowfront. It was an old all glass aquarium and the top brace was starting to split. I was super excited to see that she had decided to buy it for me. Figured I'd put my build and documentation thread on here as well...

2x4 stand

I skinned the stand with thin oak plywood.

The door is held on by magnets. I really liked this method. I got a very large opening in the stand this way.

Well, it has been forever, and this tank was taken down about a year later. I figured I'd close out the documentation on this one before starting my new build thread.
