Clone Shippers? --- Any use for these?

Came across these products recently and how they are used to ship the planted tank clones and thought they were very interesting!

Can these be used for shipping frags in any way? Is there any reason to need a frag to be lit up during shipment? Could this lead to other forms of "luxury" shipping options that possibly involve better temperature management or even flow?

I don't see any advantage that would make it worth the cost. But that's just my opinion, for what it's worth.

I think the biggest improvement to shipping frags is just optimal temp control during shipment. People frequently do 3 day blackouts on thei tanks for algae control and coral survive well, so lighting isn't an issue for shipping. High/low temps are the biggest killer of shipped frags. Not sure about more sensitive acros and such, but I've had zoas survive in an unlit sample cup used for shipping floating in my sump (little to no light) for 2 weeks. To me, that means at least for zoas, if good temp is maintained and some gentle movement they could be shipped with 2 or 3 day shipping and bring cost way down. If there were a good say to cheaply improve temperature stability during shipping over several days, than pricey overnight shipping wouldn't be needed.

While luxury shipping sounds nice, 4 out of 5 people that ask to have frags shipped are shocked at how expensive it is and want to bring that cost down-not up with better packing. Perhaps some sensitive coral may benefit from some light, but a small amount of light from a single LED may not do much for coral.
