I drilled the rock outside of the tank and then thoroughly rinsedI have a 75 gallon. I used aquavitro. It calls for 5 mL (1tsp) per each 18 gallons. That means I would need about 20 mL (4tsp). That's what I added.
Another factor is that I started a zoa garden yesterday by drilling holes in my rock to play the frag plugs in. I thoroughly rinsed the rock after drilling though...
Sorry, Nitrates not Ammonia are 15ppmAlmost any other additive is fine. lol
Calcium chloride or the calcium part of a two part system (alk and calcium).
Ammonia is 15 in what units?
Idk if it is normal, but it makes for a pretty aquascape. I like the look of just a cloudy rock. Soda ash really makes it look like it is setting up on a cloud. I guess this is just norm noob behavior for beginner reefers.. idk. So I have no advice to give.Hi,
I'm just starting to test Ca,Mg, etc and have started dosing too. Last night I dosed Ca and woke up this morning to a cloudy tank. Is that normal?
