My tank is a year and a half old. A few weeks ago I noticed water getting cloudy. Was using a hang on filter so I upgraded to a canister with carbon and 100micron polishing pad. Thats been running for a week. Checked water
PH 8/ AMM 0/ NO2 0/ NO3 0/ ALK 9.3/ CAL 480/ SALT 29.5 TEMP 78
I can see little critters on glass and water surface. What can I do to clean it up?

I put carbon in my canister filter and have an air stone constantly running. Does it just take time for a bloom to resolve?
Yup, it can take a week to 2 weeks to clear up. Just got to be patient on this one. It is generally harmless, it's just not aesthetic.

Thank you. In the meantime do I continue water changes like usual?
Yes, as usual. Only do your normal amounts or even do less. You might want to change a lot of water to help clear it up, but that will only make things worse.

I'm glad I asked I was about to do that tomorrow going out would clear up. I appreciate the advice.
Do a major water change once the water clears up, to get rid of all the dead bacteria.
